College-Bound Athletes

You have completed the necessary work in order to make yourself a recruitable Student-Athlete on a collegiate level a commendable achievement that we will hope to help you get rewarded for in the form of an athletic scholarship. In this section we hope to simplify what seems to be a very complicated process at the beginning.

ROAD TO NCAA CLEARINGHOUSE ELIGIBILITY

9th Grade

  • look for Pre-Approved courses that will lead to eligibility HERE

  • Create Profile Page in Eligibility Center HERE

  • Register and begin taking the ACT OR SAT Standardized tests. Register for ACT HERE OR Register for SAT HERE 

  • Send Scores to your Eligibility Account automatically by adding Test Code: 9999 on TEST DAY

10th Grade

  • Transition your Account to a Certification Account (pay for the fee to certify the already created account) You won't be able to take *Official Visits without the certified account.

  • Parents, Ask your Student-Athlete's Counselor at the end of the Sophomore Year request that your Student-Athletes OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT be added to their *NCAA Clearinghouse Eligibility Center Account.

what is an *Official Visit? Any visit to a college campus in which any part is financed by the school is considered an official visit. Coaches usually save invitations for their top recruits and getting asked is a huge step on your recruiting journey. what is *NCAA Clearinghouse? It is the Governing body of Collegiate Sports. You are ineligible (and transitively less recruitable) for any sport until you are deemed eligible by NCAA Clearinghouse even if you are enrolled in the school already.

11th Grade

  • Parents, Ask your Student-Athlete's Counselor at the end of the Sophomore Year request that your Student-Athletes OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT be added to their *NCAA Clearinghouse Eligibility Center Account.

 

12th Grade

  • Complete your Approved Core Courses

  • Parents fill out the FAFSA HERE

  • Achieve Satisfactory  Score on Standardized Test

  • Request your FINAL AMATEURISM CERTIFICATION beginning April 1st of your Senior Year

  • Parents, Ask your Student-Athlete's Counselor at the end of the Sophomore Year request that your Student-Athletes OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT be added to their *NCAA Clearinghouse Eligibility Center Account.
